01 / OUR HISTORY
From Ojo classrooms
to a lifetime bond.
We are the 1998 Set of Command Day Secondary School, Ojo—a generation brought together by shared classrooms, morning assemblies, sporting competitions, parade grounds, examinations, friendships, and the unforgettable experiences that shaped our formative years.
Within the walls of Command, we learned far more than academic subjects. We discovered the value of discipline, resilience, teamwork, integrity, and service. We celebrated victories together, overcame challenges together, and built friendships that have endured far beyond our school days.
Graduation marked the end of one chapter, but not the end of our story. As life led us into different professions, cities, countries, and families, the connection we formed as classmates remained a part of who we are. Though distance and time may have separated us, the spirit of our set has continued to unite us.
Today, the CDSS Ojo 1998 Alumni Association exists to preserve that bond, reconnect classmates across the world, celebrate our achievements, support one another, and give back to the institution that helped shape us. Together, we honour our shared past while building a stronger future—for ourselves, for one another, and for the generations of Commandos who will follow.

Built on lifelong friendships, shared values, and a commitment to giving back, these principles define who we are and inspire everything we do as the CDSS Ojo 1998 Alumni.
Vision
To foster a strong, united, and lifelong network of CDSS Ojo Class of 1998 alumni by strengthening our bond with one another, supporting the growth and development of our alma mater, and making a lasting impact within our communities.
Mission
To preserve and promote the shared interests, values, and legacy of the CDSS Ojo Class of 1998 by:
- Building meaningful connections among members through open and effective communication.
- Encouraging unity, friendship, mentorship, and mutual support within the alumni community.
- Partnering with the Command Day Secondary School Ojo Cantonment Alumni Association to contribute to the continued growth, reputation, and development of our alma mater.
- Supporting educational, social, and community initiatives that positively impact current students, fellow alumni, and society.
- Inspiring every member to remain actively engaged in preserving our heritage while investing in the future of Command Day Secondary School Ojo.

Reunions, birthdays, shared updates, and this online home help us find one another again — wherever life has taken us. We reconnect old friends, welcome new chapters, and keep the Command spirit alive in everyday ways.

Life after school brings joy and challenge. As alumni, we show up for each other with encouragement, experience, and care — because a set that grew up together can also grow through life together.

Giving back to the school
Command Day Secondary School, Ojo shaped us. We honour that gift by giving back — through mentorship, service, and support that helps today’s students and strengthens the school community we came from.
